Ham in bread kvass
Live kvass Arseniivskyi TM - 1-2 liters
Bay leaf - 3-4 pcs.
Boneless pork ham - 1 kg
Mint - 1 small bundle
Garlic - 1 large bulb
Time for preparing
Prepare meat, cut off excess fat so that the remaining fat layer does not exceed 0.5 cm.
Peel garlic, cut the cloves along into 2-3 parts. Force the ham with garlic.
Place it in a glass or ceramic dish of the appropriate size, pour the meat with live kvass by Arseniivskyi TM. Add roughly chopped mint and bay leaf and cover.
Put in a refrigerator for 12 hours. Turn the ham every 2 hours and pour it with live bread kvass.
Then remove the ham, dry it carefully, apply vegetable oil, rub salt and pepper on all sides. Put a grill on a baking sheet, put the ham on it.
Warm the oven to the maximum temperature and put the sheet with the ham into it. Cook for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 150°C and cook for an additional hour.
Put the prepared meat into a warm dish, cover with foil and allow to cool.
Serve cold with pickled vegetables or serve warm with live kvass/white kvass by Arseniivskyi TM.
